Ever since falling in love with narrative nonfiction as an editorial intern at Dave Eggers’ oral history nonprofit Voice of Witness in 2014, Inge has worked with narrative storytelling in long-form, audio, and interactive multimedia.
She is a 2023 graduate of New York University’s MFA Literary Reportage program, which she attended on a Fulbright Netherlands scholarship.
Her work appears in both Dutch and English in outlets including The Guardian, The New York Times, The Cut, BBC Radio, The Correspondent, De Groene Amsterdammer, Pointer, and Trouw.
In addition to her freelance journalism, Inge teaches narrative reporting to Dutch journalists and supports writers and creatives on their nonfiction projects as a story coach.
